CalBIT.com, a Nevada state coporation, is the first comprehensive online Biennial Inspection of Terminals (BIT) resource serving California fleet operations.
Our mission is to help businesses maintain California BIT compliance by bringing various aspects of the BIT program online all the while keeping it as hassle free as possible for any size fleet operation.
Our team is focused on understanding the overall BIT inspection requirements and working to ensure our users have the tools they need to maintain compliance as required by California Motor Carrier code 34501.12 V.C. We aspire to be well-known for our capacity to assist businesses in becoming more efficient and knowledgeable in the BIT Inspection process.

Rudy J. Salazar is the founder and chief executive officer of CalBIT.com.
Rudy has over 25 years of experience in the transportation industry, as a refrigeration and truck and trailer mechanic.
Prior to CalBIT.com, Rudy held shop management positions such as service manager at major truck dealers,
truck rental and leasing operations in the southwest, at times managing multiple service shops in different regions
with over 20 mechanics and 30 service bays. Rudy’s years of experience gives him the day-to-day knowledge of the California BIT Inspection management process.
He holds a bachelors degree in Business Administration from California State University Fullerton.
